Were dedicated to strengthening the health and well-being of gay men. We involve and engage gay men to improve foundations of their physical, sexual, social and mental health through research-based, community-minded, volunteer-driven activities. Our materials and programs are for adults and deal with gay sexuality positively and explicitly. In British Columbia, STI clinics and HIMs Health Centres are well-equipped to meet gay mens testing needs. They have access to the latest HIV & STI testing technologies, and generally have experience with gay mens sexual health issues. The HIM Health Centres in Vancouver (on Davie Street and Commercial Drive) offer dedicated testing and counselling services that are tailored for gay men and other men who have sex with men. The new HIM Health Centres in New Westminster, Surrey and Abbotsford also offer tailored testing services for gay men and other men who have sex with men, but currently do not offer counselling services.
