We are an organization that works in Canada and around the world to promote health, well-being, and rights related to sexuality and reproduction. Building on the 50-year legacy of the organizations that formed Action Canada, we provide direct support, referrals, and information to the people who need it most, partner with groups and organizations on a range of campaigns using a collaborative, movement-building approach, and work with decision-makers to advance progressive policies on access to abortion, stigma-free healthcare, gender equality, LGBTQ rights, and inclusive sex-ed. 24/7 Direct Support and Stigma-Free Information We deliver a 24-hour Canada wide toll-free Access Line, accurate health information online, and resources for educators and health professionals on issues related to gender, sexuality, and reproductive health. Engaging Policymakers and Promoting Rights We work with decision-makers in Canada and globally to advocate for issues that include access to safe abortion, comprehensive sexuality education ("sex-ed"), gender equality, and the rights of LGBTQ persons and sex workers. Collaboration and Movement Building We partner with organizations and activists that range from health care providers in Canada to human rights defenders and feminist coalitions from all regions of the world advocating together at the United Nations.
