Blue Door Clinic provides health care to people living with HIV in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) who are uninsured or precariously insured (have limited or no access to health insurance).

This includes, but is not limited to:

Individuals NOT covered by publicly funded health insurance programs such as Ontario Health Insurance Program (OHIP) or Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP).

Temporary immigration status such as:

-newcomers awaiting inland processing/review of their immigration and refugee applications -individuals awaiting approval of permanent residency applications

-migrant workers and those awaiting renewed contracts or work visas -individuals with work permits but who do not qualify for OHIP

-individuals with active visitor visas -international students whose mandatory health insurance does not cover the full range of HIV care/ basic HIV care -non-status individuals who are not eligible for care through a Community Health Centre (CHC)

Canadian-born individuals who do not have adequate identification due a variety of adverse life circumstances
