We offer a safe place for people to use drugs under the direct supervision of medically trained staff to promote harm reduction and decrease the harm and deaths linked with opioid use. Safe consumption sites connect people to health and social services, provide harm reduction supports such as sterile equipment, and encourage safer drug use. Staff is on hand to administer naloxone in the event of an opioid overdose. They also reduce impact on Emergency Medical Services attending to drug overdoses. We do not provide site users with drugs.
