Boys and Girls Club of Williams Lake and District

The Boys and Girls Club of Williams Lake and District provides a safe and supportive place for children and youth to experience new opportunities, overcome barriers and build positive relationships and skills for life. All the services provided by the Boys & Girls' Blood Borne Infection (BBI) Prevention Program are available to youth, schools and youth groups. Notably, however, the BBI Program's target audiences include adults from all walks of life (i.e. mainstream and at-risk populations). The BBI Program is based on a Population Health Approach and as such, community development, the facilitation of community partnerships and education are a key aspects of this program. The services provided include: - Networking, -Referrals, -Individual Advocacy & Support, -Community Awareness Initiatives & Events, -Group Presentations & Workshops (for 2 to 200+), -Crisis Intervention and Harm Reduction strategies.
