The Central Miramichi Community Health Centre (CMCHC) is an organization that provides primary health care services, illness and injury prevention, chronic disease management and community development services, using a Population Health approach. CMCHC is made up of a team of health care providers who are all about working together in a collaborative practice with community participation, and patient-centred care. The team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, dietitians, health promoters, counselors and other health care providers.
The clinic will operate from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Thursday. Anyone from the Doaktown and surrounding rural area without a health care provider, or anyone who has a provider at the health centre and cannot get a timely appointment, can call the Quick Care Clinic at 506-365-6144 starting at 10 a.m., on those days to be assessed for an appointment.
