We provide a broad range of clinical services in a safe and comfortable, therapeutic environment: Nutrient-dense meals served twice daily. Comprehensive nursing service including health assessments, medication assistance, and consultation for symptom management. Nurses play a key role in helping participants successfully engage in highly active anti-retroviral therapy (HAART) treatment. Showers, sleep rooms, laundry facilities, computers, telephones and gym. Counselling services build emotional strength and promote essential psychological well-being and wellness. Art therapy and music therapy stimulate self-awareness, self-expression, communication, personal development and greater self-care, and enable a wide range of outcomes. Recreational therapy and complementary therapy facilitate well-being and enhance quality of life. A social support network of staff, peers and volunteers. The Dr. Peter Centre assists individuals to manage medication and the side effects, enabling us to play an important role in both treatment and prevention.
