This is one of ten Primary Health Care Centres available within Interior Health communities. Primary Health Care Centres have a more comprehensive and coordinated approach to healthcare delivery. STOP HIV is province-wide initiative to reduce HIV transmission through expanded awareness, testing, prevention and treatment. Physicians and community partners are a vital part of the program and will play a key role in its success by encouraging and normalizing HIV testing, connecting newly identified cases with supports and resources and engaging individuals previously diagnosed with HIV who are not currently receiving care. Services provided may include HIV/HCV/HBV testing, partner notification, referrals, counselling, medication adherence support, and HIV education for individuals and groups. Some services offered include: Caregiver Support, Case Management, Child and Youth Immunization Program, Community Care Clinic, Community Nursing Services, Community Nutrition Services, Primary Health Care, Rehabilitation, and Social Work Services.
