The London InterCommunity Health Centre has been a part of Londons Old East community for more than 20 years. We provide health and social services in a welcoming setting to those who experience barriers to care. These barriers may include poverty, homelessness, language or culture, and complex and/or chronic health conditions including mental health and addictions.
Our two East London locations offer care by a team which includes family doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, dietitians and community health workers. The Health Centre offers many programs that address the factors in our living and working lives that impact our health, well-being and ability to reach our potential. These factors include income, education, employment, housing, food, recreation and social supports.
The Options Clinic is now offering free, anonymous, rapid testing by appointment.
Anonymous HIV testing is a way to test for HIV without collecting identifiable or contact information. All testing, recording and reporting of results is done using a numbered testing code known only to the client.
Options Clinic is also able to offer rapid hepatitis C testing. This test takes about 15 minutes to yield a conclusive result, and it is NOT anonymous. It does require you to provide your name, and health card number if possible.
To book an appointment, or should you have questions about testing, please text or call the Options Cell Phone at 519 709 5903.
