ARSF Programs Ltd. provides a range of innovative health, harm-reduction, and counseling services to individuals, children, youth and families. Over time, we have continued to learn and grow along with our clients and community. We operate a variety of programs with experienced, qualified and professional staff. The majority of services are provided in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
Incepted as Nanaimo and Area Resource Services for Families in 1990, and renamed NARSF Programs Ltd. in 1999, services and programs include the Domestic Violence Response Program (DVRP), the Eating Disorders Program, the Living in Families with Teens (a parent-teen counseling program) Program, the Sexual Abuse Intervention Program (SAIP), the Mental Health Outreach Program for children and youth, the Transitions Youth Withdrawal and Supportive Residential Program and Central Vancouver Island Harm Reduction Services (CVIHRS) for individuals at risk to blood borne diseases.
Services are provided through funding from the Ministry of Children and Family Development and the Vancouver Island Health Authority.
