Rapid and anonymous HIV testing: Community members aged 14 and older can access anonymous HIV testing by appointment. This service is offered for free and includes support in connecting with other local resources as needed, including further STBBI testing, HIV treatment and care, PrEP options, harm reduction services, and more. To connect with an anonymous HIV testing worker, please reach out by call or text at (613) 295-9574. Anonymous HIV testing is available by appointment or in the community in partnership with various local organization with specific drop-in availability. Somerset West Community Health Centre also provides services through our Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment (HART) Hub. These include basic needs services (shower program, meals, clothing donations), community-building activities, connection to healthcare providers, and system navigation supports. We offer harm reduction programming through NESI, including support and system navigation for clients who use drugs, community building activities, and mobile gear distribution through the NESI van.

The NESI van distributes gear for safer injection and safer inhalation in the Ottawa region, Monday-Saturday from 5:00 to 11:30 pm (closed on Sundays). To reach the NESI van, please contact (613) 761-0003.
